Let me not touch your any more
as you sleep so deep under the stars
Let me not stare at you any more
as your closed eyes weave dreams of colour
Let me not wake you up at this hour
as the game of hide and seek between the cloud and the moon is not yet over
Let me not pull up the covers
as the beautiful feet lay bare showing strangers the door
Let me not stop loving you more and more
and a dawn must break when the clouds will clear
and a smiling you will find me besides the morning star
the most unlikely and the most lovable person you are next only to a mother
